WHO WE ARE
Jillian Little, the Principal of the Firm, has been a Family Lawyer since 2005, having already enjoyed a career as a Secondary School Teacher in North Queensland for 12 years before heading to Brisbane to commence her practice in the law. Jillian headed up the Team at Littles Lawyers from 2008 to 2014 before opening Littles Family Lawyers to specialize in Family Law in 2014.
Jillian’s approachable and understanding manner is well suited to family law and she has a vast array of experience in navigating her clients through stressful and emotional situations, be it a financial or parenting dispute. Jillian is no stranger to complex property settlements, involving medical separation or recovering children through The Hague Convention. She is committed to resolutions that allow her clients to move forward positively and enjoys mentoring younger staff members.

Aleisha is an Honours Law Graduate of the University of Queensland. She has only worked under the banner of Littles and has a vast array of experience both inside and outside the courtroom. Over the last 6 years, Aleisha has been involved in complicated family law matters, resulting in successful outcomes for her clients. Aleisha has a myriad of other interests in the law, having actively worked in property law, wills and estates and personal injury law, but her true passion and calling is fighting for her Family Law clients.
To compliment her legal career, Aleisha is an extensive traveler, having been to Nepal, El Salvador, Honduras, Bolivia and over 60 other countries. Aleisha is a voracious reader of novels and classics and a supporter of the Arts. Her down to earth approach makes her highly relatable to her clients and friends alike.

Laura completed her Bachelor of Laws at the Queensland University of Technology in 2014. Laura has over 5 years’ experience working exclusively in family law within specialised firms in Brisbane.
Laura’s motivation for family law is driven by the opportunity to meet new people and to support them through to resolution of their family law matter.
Laura acknowledges the limitations of litigation, and where possible focuses on out of Court resolution alternatives to ensure a timely, cost effective and a calm result for her clients.
In her spare time, Laura enjoys; spending time with her friends and family, watching Seinfeld, and hanging out in dog parks pretending to own other people’s dogs. Laura also has a twin sister, so if you see a lady that looks similar to her don't be alarmed if she doesn't recognise you!
Kamila completed her Masters of Law at University of Szczecin in Poland in 2004. She has also completed a number of law subjects at the Queensland University of Technology to expand her legal knowledge of Australian law and is working towards a recognised Law Degree in Australia.
Kamila has considerable experience working as a Legal Secretary in Australia and in the United Kingdom.
Kamila is a wife and mother to two very active boys and is very passionate about her family, as well as being dedicated to her work. She believes that it is never too late to be whoever we want to be and live a life we are proud of.
In her spare time Kamila enjoys reading, travelling and spending time with her family and friends. She regularly attends social and cultural events organised by the Polish community in Brisbane and is fluent in Polish and English.
Lauryn has just commenced a Bachelor of Laws at the Queensland University of Technology, having already completed 1 year of Business & Journalism. Lauryn has taken a keen interest in Family Law and Criminal Law.
When Lauryn isn’t working as a Paralegal, she coaches Netball at Sommerville House, where she boarded for 3 years. Prior to become a boarder, Lauryn lived in Singapore and Shanghai and is conversant in Mandarin.
Outside of work, Lauryn enjoys the country racing circuit, music festivals and playing netball and touch football.
Madi is currently studying a dual degree of Law & Psychology at the Queensland University of Technology where she is in her 2nd year. Madi loves the uni life so much that she lives on campus.
Madi is an old girl of St Margaret’s, where she boarded for 10 years. She is country girl from a cattle property, which makes her a confident horse rider and a lover of racing carnivals.
Madi hopes that her study of Psychology will compliment her law studies and be of great benefit to our family law clients.
